The veterinary brand Vita Bovis has been acquired by Quantum Projects from technology company Watter in Assen. Vita Bovis was developed by Watter in 2019 to provide the veterinary market with sustainable disinfection solutions based on the Watter technology.
Alfred Koop, director of Watter BV, explains how this acquisition fits in with their mission: "It is important to improve hygiene in the livestock industry and reduce the number of harmful chemicals. By cooperating with strategic partners, the potential of sustainable disinfection can be better exploited internationally. Quantum Projects has the knowledge and experience to roll out the Vita Bovis products in other countries. Watter, as a technology company, will further focus on the development of the technology and the applications themselves."
Roy de Ruiter and Berend Smit, owners Quantum Projects let us know to be in the starting blocks: "Vita Bovis is a strong brand with which we will take a big step to make disinfectants more sustainable. The European approval of the active substance by ECHA is a confirmation that the market is ready for an alternative to conventional, toxic disinfectants. Several countries have already shown interest in Vita Bovis and we can't wait to roll out the brand with our partners."
The Vita Bovis brand was originally a hygienic product with an eye for the animal, but especially for the user and the environment. The product is skin-friendly, contains no harmful substances, and is biodegradable. Quantum Projects will launch several products under the Vita Bovis label for the agricultural market, as well as for pets.
Both companies hope to use each other's strengths through this cooperation and to make a positive contribution to the hygiene in the livestock sector. Do you want to know more about the activities of Watter BV or Quantum Projects? Then contact us via our contactform.
