Nontox is a sustainable, powerful and biodegradable disinfectant made of water and salt. Nontox is more effective than most traditional, poisonous disinfectants. It's completely safe for people, animals and the planet. A real victory, as creating a poison-free world is one of the major challenges of these times.
How is Nontox made?
Watter has developed a patented technology that produces the very powerful and sustainable disinfectant Nontox. Nontox is created through electrolysis of normal water with a saturated salt solution. Nontox can be produced on location with the Watter system. Making a disinfectant with water, salt and electricity seems easy. Yet the technology behind it is complex.
Uses of Nontox
Nontox can be used in all situations where safety and hygiene are of major importance. Just think of hospitals and care institutions, industry, cattle breeding and farming.
By disinfecting water systems, the drinking water quality improves and biofilm in, among others, water troughs is prevented. This makes the pressure of infection considerably lower, the cattle stays healthy and fewer antibiotics are required.
Through sustainable disinfection, fewer chemicals are required. This benefits soil fertility and the quality of ground and surface water. It provides strong, healthy crops.
High quality requirements
Nontox, which is produced by Watter, is tested extensively by TNO and other renowned scientific institutes. International EN protocols are applied to all tests carried out. In addition, Watter meets European legislation. The Watter systems meet the highest quality standards.
The Watter system meets high quality standards:
IPC-A-610, class 2&3
Nontox is suitable for the disinfection of:
Fruit & vegetables (EN 13697)
Medical instruments (EN 14561)
Rooms (EN 14349)
Surfaces (EN 14561)
Water (EN 14349, EN 13623)
The Watter machine is easy to use. The compact device - with dimensions of 60 x 70 x 130 cm - is easy to transport and install. As a user you only require water and electricity to start. The system can be connected to the water mains. A large internal 80 litre storage tank ensures that disinfecting liquid is always available. If desired, an external barrel can be connected for extra storage capacity. The system is self-cleaning.
